These Italian Army shoulder straps are a post-war copy of the British 37 pattern. After World War 2 the Italians used or recreated a mash of US and British gear and these straps appear to be an attempt to clone the 37 pattern yoke system. These were used by threading them through the top of the buckle on a utility pouch over the shoulder into another utility pouch to carry extra gear. Made from hardy cotton canvas these will last decades! A cheeky mint replacement for your British 37 pat webbing or make your own with one of these genuine Italian yoke shoulder straps!
